I woke up at 6:53 this morning. As you might surmise from the title of this site, 5:00 AM is my goal for waking up every day.

Last night was disorganized, but I wouldn't change much. Child 1 needed some snuggles before bed. He was asleep in no time.

Child 2 decided she wanted Mommy's bed more than her bed, so she popped in with the instructions from me that she was to get in her own bed when parents went to bed. Then she needed snuggles.

Then I woke up at 6:53. No alarm set; forgot to wash my face last night. Oh, well. They'll grow up so fast that I'm soaking up this time with them.

Today is Christmas Eve. Kris, my husband, does most of the shopping for the kids. Gift-giving is his love language. We still need to wrap most of it, and put it under the tree. I haven't put that task on my to-do list because the kids have done a fabulous job of reminding us multiple times a day for weeks to do that.

Otherwise, I'll be working on a wedding dress. My sewing for business usually takes me right up to Christmastime. This week, there will be a bit to do the day after, too. My break comes after that, though. The rest of the time will be with my kids while they're out of school on break.

Child 1 just woke up with a headache. I wish I could take the pain away. It hurts to see kids--or anybody--in pain.

I'll get off now, and help him. Besides, it's been 10 minutes. I love this project!
