Goodbye, Aunt N

I wrote yesterday without posting, and here it is: The world lost a wonderful lady on Saturday, my great aunt. She spent so much of her life in service to those around her.

And she had a smile that would light up a city block, one of the biggest, most beautiful smiles in all of Creation.

I remember once when I was about 12 years old and making a dress. I worked and worked on this dress, got stuck on it and frustrated, totally sick of ironing it every time I turned around. She guided me, and then when I was really stuck on making buttonholes, she finished those out for me. And I loved that dress.

More than that, I loved her serving heart and her attention to others around her.

I love you and miss you, Aunt N!

I'm making two separate posts today. My great aunt deserves her own space.
